Delphiniums are a great flower to give height and drama to any floral arrangement and at this time of year in late spring, early summer they are at their peak.

Delphiniums are also know as Larkspur in some regions and countries.  Delphiniums are prized for their height ranging from 2 feet for dwarf varieties to over 6 feet tall in other types.

Delphiniums are a great way to add blue to your floral arrangements since there aren’t a great many naturally occurring blue flowers. ¬†In addition to blue though you can also find delphiniums in red, yellow, white and varying shades of pink.

Enjoy these photos and hopefully gain some inspiration for delphinium arrangements.
