Jacket Season Approaches

We are having a big cool off in Oklahoma and I’m so excited, I’m not a fan of hot temps AT ALL.  Autumn means big changes,  especially in our wardrobes.  Banana Republic and The Gap both have their first round of jackets and vests out and available for ordering.

There are several I’ve got my eye on, but I have to confess here and now that I have a coat PROBLEM, too many of them, I definitely like the looks of the denim jackets offered by both retailers.  Let me know what you think about the offerings from BR and Gap, see anything you like for yourself guys or the man in your life, ladies?

Banana Republic

The military Green Two In One Jacket.  Always a great color for the Fall, this one comes
with a inner vest that can be worn separately,  from Banana Republic

I’m always crazy for a quilted jacket and this one is no exception from BR

Leather Moto Jackets are all the rage, and this one from BR has a lot going for it.

I’ve looked at Quilted Blazers like this from several high end retailers and have coveted them, but this one is good looking in BR’s Preppy Blue and a great price.

Gray is the color of the year, especially 50 Shades of it, this Gray Zip Jacket is great for work or weekends from Banana Republic

A modern take on an old classic with BR’s Heritage Denim Jacket

The Gap

The Gap has some great denim jackets, starting with this
1969 Heritage Denim Jacket in Medium Blue Wash

The 1969 Heritage Denim Jacket also comes in the sharp looking Natural Wash color

This 1969 jacket is made from 13 oz. premium Japanese denim, the yarns in the denim have been dipped in the dye multiple times that creates a dark color that gets better with age
