For most of us when you say nail head trim, you envision the decorative nail heads used on sofas, chairs and ottomans. Today nailhead trim is being used in so many other ways, let’s take a look at some of the great and interesting ways nail heads are being used in the design world.

Nail head trim on furniture has always been the customary way to use it, but now it’s very popular to use on case goods, such as end tables, as well as upholstered furniture, as you’ll see in this next set of pictures. So get out those paint brushes, buy some paint, grab a hammer and nail head trim and repurpose that piece of furniture you can’t make yourself get rid of.
I really like this idea of “beefing” up drapery cornice boards, you may call them valances, with some nail head trim.
What do you think about adding nail head trim to walls? Personally, I like it, I’m especially liking those red leather walls.
In addition to walls, nail head trim looks amazing on doors and ceilings. Can you imagine the time that went into this ceiling?
Of course you can add small amounts of nail head to things, it just adds a nice metal sheen and some pattern.
So, pick out some nail heads you like, pick up that hammer, make something old new again and……………
