A Door A Day: Getting The Blues

The third door I’m sharing with you is another I’ve done for several years, although when I first started doing it the color palette was much more traditional.

A few years ago the lady of the house decided to change the Christmas lights that are put on the house and in the trees and bushes around it to blue and white and we changed the colors of the front door to blue, white and silver.  This has worked out well because it allows us to leave the door decorations up for the winter until we change it out to Spring colors in March.

I really like this door, mostly because it’s different from most and when the rest of the property is lit up at night in blue and white, it’s all very cool. ¬†
