A Peek Inside Bunny’s Country House

December 30, 2014

My whole life I’ve always gotten at least one book for Christmas, and this year was no different.  Of course my taste in books has changed with age and today mom usually opts to add another coffee table book to my collection, I still read lots of novels and biographies but love my expanding collection of coffee table tomes.  This year I received An Affair With A House  by renowned Interior Designer Bunny Williams.

This book is a look into the country house that Williams and her husband lovingly restored, a quest they began over 30 years ago.  Today I thought I would share some images with you from the book, this is a must for interior design lovers and gardners alike.   I know you’ll enjoy it as much as I am.

One of the storage closets, love the hanging area for tablecloths.

Williams says the antique four poster bed is a perfect fit, almost scraping the ceiling.

The rustic pool house resembles an ancient temple and the stones along the edge of the pool are from France.

Williams’ book is not only full of gorgeous pictures but she gives you lots of hints on making your house a home, as well as recipes, entertaining ideas and even how to live with dogs.  Enjoy!!!
