Today we are going to take a look at Penny Round tiles. The Penny Rounds made today are meant to mimic the small round tiles from many decades ago. I really, really like Penny Rounds and want to incorporate them into some of the projects we are planning on doing in our home in the days to come.
First of all I love that they are round, so many things we have to choose from in Interior Design all have straight edges, so Penny Round tiles change all that and bring some curves and flow to a project. I also love the retro feel they lend to a project and they come in tons of colors and now also metallic finishes. Penny Rounds, when used in conjunction with other shaped tiles, make for a very smart look (and No you don’t have to lay each individual tile, they come in sheets, I know someone is pondering that question). Here’s a look at Penny Rounds in all their little round glory. Enjoy!!!
This is a great example of how Penny Rounds add interest to simple white Subway tiles.

See how they can liven up a floor.
Very impressive with a whole room tiled in nothing but Penny Rounds.
Here you can see the webbing that holds the rounds together in sheets.
This is a proposal for a shower, again Penny Rounds combined with other tiles.
I’m not usually a big glass tile person, but I really like this floor of glass Penny Rounds.
A very elegant black and white tiled area.
I like everything about this picture, from the open concept shelving to the masculine grey Penny Round tile.
Just a band of them really brighten up an area.
Lots of planning and an artistic eye can result in beautiful creations.
An example of the metallic finishes, here in copper.
An impressive and beautiful wall of Penny Rounds. See how well they work with the contemporary sinks, faucets and light fixtures.
