Happy Memorial Day

May 25, 2015

I just want to take a moment on this holiday and remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. Memorial Day has always been a big deal for my family and the small town I grew up in, this is the day we remember those who fought for our great country, those who died serving in the military and also those family members that have died. My family has a proud military heritage, my father served in the army along with two of his brothers and their father served in World War I and two of my uncles on my mom’s side served in the Navy during World War II, Michael’s dad was killed during training exercises as a Navy pilot during the Vietnam Conflict. ┬áSo, if you have a veteran in your family or friends that have died, stop for a moment and remember them and the great service they did our country. ┬áHave a wonderful holiday everyone!!!
