As we head into Summer at a blindingly fast pace ( SLOW DOWN !!!!!) I want to focus today on one of my favorite flowers, Hydrangeas. Hydrangeas have so much going for them, they come in a variety of colors as well as sizes. I love to use Hydrangeas in a couple of ways, they look great by themselves in a bouquet or arrangement, there’s nothing more beautiful than a big bowl of hydrangeas, as well as mixed with other flowers.

If I use Hydrangeas with other flowers I start by using them as a base for the other flowers in the arrangement, they’re a great “anchor” for the other flowers, and there are few flowers that hydrangeas don’t look good with. Hydrangeas are great in all kinds of settings, whether it’s an antique foot bath filled with hydrangeas and roses or a sleek crystal vase with a tight arrangement, hydrangeas always fill the bill. Let’s take a look at hydrangeas in their natural state and in some glorious arrangements, be inspired and Enjoy!!!
