I love Alstroemeria, this little flower packs a big punch and has become my go to in arrangements.  It provides a nice colorful base to add other flowers to for mixed arrangements and big bunches of Alstroemeria on its own are gorgeous, and with their long sturdy stems you can cut and adjust them to fit all heights. I see them a lot in grocery stores that have fresh flower sections, for not a lot of money.

Alstroemeria are a type of lily and are sometimes also referred to as the Peruvian Lily, they are pretty easy to get year round as ones grown in Chile are winter growing plants and Alstroemeria grown in Brazil are Summer growing.  Join me today as we look at Alstroemeria and the wonderful things that can be done with them, Enjoy!!!

These were referred to Alstroemeria lollipops, a good example of how you can use the Alstroemeria’s height for impressive arrangements. ( via )
