I’m really excited about today’s Friday artist, Lindsay Emery. I love dishes, which is kinda crazy considering we eat on the same ones week after week, but I do. There’s something about pottery, porcelain and china that I like and the creations of Lindsay Emery are definitely something I can get into.
I read about Lindsay in House Beautiful magazine a couple months back and tore the page out of the magazine so I would remember her, this week I went to her website, Suite One Studio, and was bowled over. Her creations are gorgeous, they look so delicate and the colors are beautiful, from the gold stripes to the rich navy blues and vivid pinks. Check out Lindsay’s creations when you have a chance, her dishes would make wonderful gifts for others or yourself. Enjoy!!!
The Ring Dish In White With Gold Splatters is the perfect look and size to hold those special things you want to keep track of.
This is the Baroque Platter With Navy Brushstroke, it’s completely made by hand and inspired by antique silver trays.
I love the Oblong Burlap Tray With Gold Stripe, it’s all shaped by hand and has a burlap texture to it.
Lindsay describes these Dessert Plates in Rose & Gold as glamorous, made of white porcelain with a pink glaze and the gold rim gives them that extra chicness, they are fired three times making them tough enough for daily use.
This Lace Cheeseboard In White gets its beautiful pattern from an antique lace table runner, BEAUTIFUL!!!
