I love Orange anything, ice cream, cake, and the color. In the summer there was nothing better than an orange and creamy Dreamsicle, as a kid my aunt always had PushUps in the freezer, remember they were round and you peeled the paper top off the top of the cardboard tube and pushed the orange flavored ice cream out the top and ate it. Orange is also one of my favorite colors, it’s bright, bold and fun.
A lot of people shy away from orange because it’s such a strong color but it works and pairs with lots of other colors and it can be used as an accent color and not necessarily the main color in a room. Let’s take a look at Orange and get some dreamy inspiration. Enjoy!!!
One of my favorite combos, orange, gray and navy.
The orange here really pops against all the natural colors of the stone and wood.
Such a cool kid’s room, love all the industrial touches like the wheels on the beds and jigsaw wall is great.
Orange and gray look SO good together.
If I had this workout room I might get to the gym more.
Love the Mid-Century style of this room with a few modern touches like the rug and ottomans.
Very cool orange light fixtures and a retro clock in this swinging house.
The tile, the windows, those sheers and the rug and chair, what’s not to like in this room.
Orange looks so good with all shades of blue.
Aaaahhhhh, beautiful.
If you need me I’ll be here reading.
I have to admit, I would have never thought about using a ski lift chair inside the house, but I like it. Kind of an indoor porch swing. It’s fun to do unusual pieces like this in a color like orange.
Everything here is jumbled and mismatched, but it all works beautifully together.
Again with the gray and orange, and it looks so great. I like everything about this kitchen.
So, yay or nay on the Dreamsicle inspiration? Would you use orange in your home, or perhaps there’s another bold color you’re wanting to try. Have a great day!!!!
