Fall is in the air here in Oklahoma, the temps are cooler, football is on the agenda every weekend and everyone’s thoughts are turning to decorating for the Autumn holidays. We are taking a little break in the near future and heading to Seattle with our friends Donna and Geoff, and we can’t wait.

Michael and I love the Pacific Northwest with all the beautiful scenery and the cooler temps year round. I thought we would take a look at Seattle and I would let you know what we are planning on doing while we’re there, buckle your seatbelts and Enjoy!!!

We’re staying near the waterfront and Pike’s Place Market, watch out for flying fish if you’re ever here, Love this area.

We aren’t renting a car this time so I’m sure we’ll take advantage of the Monorail system in Seattle.

Definitely planning on visiting the Space Needle and taking in the awesome view. The Space Needle was erected in Seattle for the 1962 World’s Fair, and today there’s all kinds of interesting sites to take in around it.

One of the great things that’s been built near the Space Needle is the Music Experience Project, it was funded by Paul Allen, one of the founders of Microsoft.

This guitar tornado is in the entrance to the Music Experience Project, that should make these Oklahoma kids feel right at home.

The Science Fiction Museum is also next to The Space Needle, gotta take a peek in there as well.

I’m hoping we’ll have time to take a stroll through the Dale Chihuly Glass Museum, LOVE his work.

I’m not a coffee drinker but a couple of our traveling party are and what better place to grab a cup of java than at the original Starbucks.

I definitely want to visit the Pioneer Square area if we have time.

I also want to ride this beauty if time allows. If we’ve missed anything please let me know.
