Today we are talking about a beautiful little flower that when it blooms let’s us know the end of Summer is near, the Aster, September’s birth month flower.
Asters come in several bright colors that work well with the colors of fall and the foliage of trees, mostly appearing in pinks, purples, blues, and whites. If you are growing Asters yourself, they like full sun and they can be planted anytime during their late summer/early fall growing season but the earlier the better. Asters are great for arrangements this time of year, they provide a great punch of color as we head into shorter days and less sunshine. Here’s a look at Asters in their natural environment as well as some arrangements, Enjoy!!!
