Hello 2016

January 11, 2016

Hello friends, I’m finally back after the holidays. To tell the truth I didn’t intend to be off from the blog as long as I was but it was kind of crazy around here, I worked on holiday things for clients up until the 23rd then it was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, one of my friends/clients went out of town the day after Christmas and asked me to house sit for 10 days and Oklahoma was hit with another ice storm on the day after Christmas, so that slowed things way down and as soon as the roads were cleared up on the 29th we started doing takedowns at client’s home of their decorations.

I only have a couple more things to take down and I’ll be caught up and I can get back to regular interior decorating and floral design.

I have lots of projects on the horizon for 2016 with clients wanting to work on bedrooms, window treatments, reupholstering furniture and having cushions and pads made for benches and built-in banquettes in the immediate future. It’s looking more and more like this will be the year we redo our own kitchen which of course will lead to lots of other things. I’m working on a trip to Dallas later this month to see what’s new at the Home and Gift Market and I’ve signed up to attend the Design Bloggers Conference in Atlanta in March. I’m hoping to be able to start posting about a lot more personal projects, I had intended to do that from the start but plans we made changed and we had to spend money on glamorous AC/Heating units and garage doors with openers.

I’m already working lots of ideas for holidays throughout the year in the way of decorations for your homes and tabletops as well as parties and as always flowers will be a big deal on Tabulous. I’m excited about 2016 for so many reasons and I hope you are also, so please check in with me every day and see what new ideas I’ve got for you and your home, have a great day, week, month and year and as always, Enjoy!!!

Happy 2016!!!
