I’ve started changing things up at client’s homes this week for Spring (temp here today is supposed to be close to 80) and one thing I did was this door. I didn’t really have much of an idea of what I wanted to do when I started but I did know that I wanted to use this green mesh ribbon and either pink or purple with it and I chose the pink.
Pink and green together are very bright, cheery and just say Springtime, the color combo also reminds me of a trip to Los Angeles we took a few years ago when we stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel which is basically a pink palace. The color combination works not only at high-end hotels but also in life all around, I mean what’s more fun than the color of pistachios and cotton candy? Join me for a look at the partnering of pink and green as we get ready for Spring, Enjoy!!!
I’m thinking lime green cake with strawberry frosting.
Wouldn’t this be beautiful for a Springtime dinner party, a rehearsal dinner or a bridal or baby shower?
Perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail, vodka Martini up and extra dirty, please.
Look at how all the shades of pink go together and the addition of green makes them all really pop.
This is a café in the Montmartre neighborhood of Paris.
Beautiful painting so delicate, love all the green.
A very feminine bedroom with pink toile paired with white accessories trimmed in green.
This has to be somewhere tropical, love this shade of pink, almost a coral color.
A riot of Springtime color in pink and green.
I hope you feel some inspiration for Spring, have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you back here Monday. Enjoy!!!
