Chuck Taylor has gotten a “facelift” at Converse, although you may not notice a lot on the outside, you will definitely notice it on the inside. Converse has teamed up with Nike and the Chuck Taylor II’s are lined with a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, the liner is a soft and lightweight foam core that offers a great deal of cushioning. The Nike technology redistributes the force of impact evenly throughout your foot when you step down, they’ve also added a non-slip tongue and a micro-suede lining that improves the breathability of the shoe, allowing your shoe to breathe more and feet to sweat less. Some of the Converse will also feature Reflective Print so you can be seen more easily at night, Converse wants everyone to be clear that these aren’t a special collection but an update to the old favorites.
I have to be honest, and say I’m not a big fan of flip flops and wear tennis shoes all summer long, so I’ll definitely be checking these out and if you haven’t heard, one of the biggest supporters of high heels recently announced she’s done with the sky high heels and going to flats. Fashionista Victoria Beckham says she can no longer wear high heels the way she has in the past and has recently been photographed in tennis shoes all over NYC during fashion week, these Chuck Taylors are definitely fashionable and fun, check ’em out. Enjoy!!!
