Have you ever been watching a movie or TV show that is taking place in the desert and people are sitting in tents or perhaps an English garden party where the ladies sit under a big beautiful tent and drink their tea? If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have one of those tents then you need to check out Raj Tent Club and their website. There are so many things these tents remind me of from tea on the lawn at Downton Abbey to the tent that was huge on the inside and small outside in Harry Potter. Granted, these tents are not cheap, they are all handmade in India using natural materials both for the construction of the tents as well as the decoration. Today I’m going to share the tents you can buy, but keep in mind they can also be rented if you aren’t looking for a “forever tent”. There are several different sizes and style of tents, from Pergolas to smaller Beach Tents, Enjoy!!!
This tent is 9ft x 9ft, so at 81 square feet, there’s lots of room for lots of fun and entertaining.
Here’s a look inside the Pergola with the walls closed, right out of Arabian Nights.
A look up at the Pergola ceiling from the inside.
The Pavilion ~ 13 ft. diameter
The Pavilion, seen above and below, imagine lounging here with a glass of your favorite beverage and a book.
The Shikar ~ 16 ft. by 8 ft.
The Shikar definitely remind me of something from the Napoleonic Wars or yes Harry Potter and the tent city at the Quidditch World Cup in The Goblet of Fire.
Here’s the interior of The Shikar, now this is glamping (glamorous camping) at 25 x 13.
The Lily Pond is 12 x 12, looks like a little cottage on the outside…..
…step inside and it’s just as wonderful.
You just kind of expect to walk up on Meryl Streep and Robert Redford washing each other’s hair in Out of Africa. Wouldn’t this be cute in a corner of your backyard?
Children’s Tent 5 ft. by 4 ft.
What child, boy or girl, wouldn’t love to have this little gem. The perfect place to play or hang out during the day and sleep under the stars at night.
Add some shade and charm to any seating area with Raj Tents Sunshade umbrellas.
