There are always two things we all want in our homes, more storage and better organization and sometimes that means getting things up. We need to get things up off the floor, up off our desks and up off the furniture, I’m really bad about out of sight out of mind so I recently went on a hunt to find attractive ways to display or store our stuff and came upon some great and good looking shelves at Ballard Designs to help us with the job. They have all kinds of choices at Ballard, whether you’re looking for rustic or refined, chances are you’ll find it at Ballard. Here are a few of the great choices I found, let me know what you think. Enjoy!!!

I’m crazy about the Ophelia Shelf from designer Suzanne Kasler for Ballard. These industrial looking shelves would be great anywhere in your home, whether the kitchen or the office. The shelves are made of Mango tree wood and hook to the wall with hidden posts, the hooks are decorative.

Mango wood shelves are also used here in the Dawson Shelf, the shelves also fold up flat, this is another great industrial looking piece.

The Abbott Slim Shelf is another unit that will work anywhere, I love this idea of using shelves for your bar area. The Abbott also comes in Black.

The Vigneto Shelf comes in three different styles, one to hold wine, one with a rack to hold glasses and plain shelf with a routered plate rack. I can so see these in a kitchen using the open shelving concept for upper storage.

I’m always a fan of floating shelves, I love how they look like they’re just out there. The St. Regis shelves would be great in a bathroom, an entryway where you don’t have room for a table or above your desk.

The Peyton Wall Organizer is three things in one. You have fabric covered cork board as the base to use as a bulletin board, the antique brass rod allows you to store books, pictures, and mail and the five hooks across the bottom are perfect for the things you don’t want to lose.

No laundry or mudroom should be without the Corday Accordion Drying Rack, 5 hooks are great for jackets and coats and the expandable rack is perfect for air drying small and/or lightweight items.

Words are my own.
