Orange is one of my favorite colors and I often feel like it gets a bum rap. Most people automatically associate the color orange with Autumn, pumpkins, and Halloween and in Oklahoma you can pretty much forget about half the population of the state having anything to do with the color orange. Orange and black are the school colors for Oklahoma State University, crimson and cream are the colors for the University of Oklahoma, so it’s almost impossible to get any OU alums to even consider bringing orange into their homes (seriously?????).
Orange for me is bright, cheerful, happy and plays well with so many other colors. I picked orange, navy, grey and white as the colors for my blog because I love the combination. Just imagine a sharp dressed guy in a navy blazer, a white shirt and an orange pocket square peeking out.
Orange and pink are amazing together as are orange and all shades of blue and don’t even get me started on orange and grey ( sophisticated and chic).

So, I thought today we would take a look at orange and all the things you can do with it as either the main color or an accent color. After all, isn’t there something about orange being the new black? Maybe all you ladies need to look into a little orange dress this year.
