Yesterday I shared some bedside wall sconces that I’m thinking about doing in our Master Bedroom and I mentioned doing some wallpaper as well. I’ve always had a soft spot for wallpaper, even though it seems to come and go as far as being in style I always like that you can get a whole new look with color and sometimes texture from installing wallpaper. I think I’ve decided on a wallpaper from York Wallcoverings that has the look of cork and the feel of suede, thus Sueded Cork Wallpaper. The paper has the colors I’m using in the room of mostly gray with accents of brown and some metallics and will look great with our tall brown leather headboard in front of it and gray and brown bedding, I also like the natural look of cork. I’ve gathered a few pics of cork wallpaper as well as an example of what I’ve picked out. I’m looking forward to sharing the completed project with you, Enjoy!!! (above image via)
This is the wallpaper I’ve chosen, this picture doesn’t do the design and color justice. The dark spots throughout are actually gold, it’s great when they catch the light. (via)
This image gives you an idea of what the Sueded Cork will look like on the wall, mine will have a little more color to it. (via)
This is a gold cork wallpaper from Thibaut, love the drama.
This is another version of York Cork wallpaper, it gives you a better look at the gold in the wallpaper and how it look installed. (via)
This is a York Cork wallpaper in blue from designer Candice Olson. (via)
