In celebration of the 90th anniversary for the House of Fendi in Rome Assouline publishing recently released a book they created in conjunction with Fendi, entitled Fendi Roma. Fendi Roma tells the amazing story of the small fur and leather workshop in Rome founded in 1926 and how it has grown to become a major fashion house without losing sight of how it all began. The creators of Fendi Roma give us a wonderful look at the history of Fendi by delving into the Fendi photographic archives as well as exploring the relationship between the brand and it’s home city of Rome, a source of constant inspiration. The book is divided into five chapters with the first being about Rome, followed by Creativity, Femininity, the Future, and Family. If you are a lover of Italian fashion and fashion history this is book you need for your collection, check out Fendi Roma in more detail at the Assouline website, in the meantime here’s a peek between the pages, Enjoy!!!
