Pantone Colors 2017 ~ Grenadine & Tawny Port

August 14, 2017

By Tab Byrum

I always enjoy looking at the colors that color giant Pantone pegs as the colors to watch for, this week we are going to take a look at the ten colors they think we need to watch for in the Fall of 2017. We start off with with a look at Grenadine and Tawny Port. Grenadine is touted as “A powerful, evocative, dynamic red, Grenadine is a confident and self-assured attention-getter” by Pantone, think red bandanas and British telephone booths. The second color is Tawny Port, “Taking the Red family to new depths, Tawny Port is elegant, sophisticated, and tasteful,”¬† here you can conjure thoughts of Burgundy¬†wine and cooked red cabbage. I’m going to share some images of Grenadine and Tawny Port to pique your interest and inspire. Enjoy!!! (above images via & via)

Grenadine

Sometimes, just a touch of a color like Grenadine is all you need, love this Cindy Console by Safavieh. (via)

Grenadine works on upholstery from all time periods, it looks great on this 1962 366 Easy Chair by Jozef Chierowski. (via)

I don’t know what it is but I want a glass right now. (via)

Grenadine helps perk lots of neutrals like Gray and Cream. (via)

As always, a pop of color like Grenadine is all it takes to make an area go from blah to WOW. (via)

Tawny Port

Accent walls are always a great wall to get a big dose of color, like Tawny Port, into a room. (via)

This is a gorgeous piece of equipment, this is a 36-inch electric, free standing range from Verona. (via)

I just love everything about this photo. The focus is the Mulled Wine on a Stick done in our Tawny Port color, but I love how the color works with black. (via)

Tawny Port is a rich addition to any color scheme in home decor and fashion. Here we have Lauren Conrad tights in our focus color paired with blue and gray. (via)

Burgundy Toile is always a great color and pattern combo, this is London Toile and I have to do some more research, looks very interesting. (via)

Check back with us every day this week as we take a look at the ten colors from Pantone for Fall 2017. Have a great Monday and Enjoy!!!

Words are my own.
