Pantone Fall 2017 ~ Shaded Spruce & Golden Lime

August 17, 2017

By Tab Byrum

We’re embracing all things green today on the blog, specifically all things done in the shades of Shaded Spruce and Golden Lime, our two Fall colors from Pantone for the coming Fall season. Shaded Spruce is described as “ This is a green you might see in the forest – sheltering and protective as evergreen trees.”  Think a dark green with more blue thrown in, it works well with Green, Pink, and Black and will definitely add drama to any room or outfit it’s added to.  Our second shade of Green for today is Golden Lime, “Earthy tones with a twist, the golden undertones of Golden Lime makes this yellow-green shade a refreshing complement to fall classics.”  Golden Lime also looks wonderful with black, think a gorgeous black suit with a pussy bow blouse of Golden Lime peeking out from under the jacket. I like this color also paired with White, and brighter colors like Orange and Yellow. Take a look at the images I’ve collected for you today to give you an idea of how these colors look and hopefully some inspiration. Enjoy!!! (above images via & via)

Shaded Spruce

The front door is always a great place to make a statement about your home and this one definitely does. The Shaded Spruce color jumps right off of the building done in a cream stone. (via)

I love painted woodwork, whether it’s baseboards or a whole wall of wood decoration like this. Done in a dark color like Shaded Spruce it’s even more beautiful. (via)

The Lulu Tufted Settee from Nieman Marcus is done in a beautiful velvet in Shaded Spruce. (via)

The Striation Wallpaper from Anthropologie comes in four different colorways, this one that features our Shaded Spruce is beautiful. (via)

Shaded Spruce painted cabinetry was a nice addition to this already colorful kitchen. (via)

Golden Lime

Here’s a great example of how wonderful a color like Golden Lime looks with black. Remember to think of green as a neutral, Mother Nature does. (via)

So much wonderful green going on in this kitchen, I especially love the cabinet fronts and light fixtures. (via)

Sometimes all you need is a pop of color, here we have Golden Lime Green drapes against dark blue walls and it looks amazing. (via)

This chest of drawers from Vanguard Furniture is the perfect accent piece and will work in any number of places. (via)

Green and White is one of my favorite color combinations in flowers and clothes, so why not interior decorating? This Golden Lime wall in an all white bathroom really sets off the whole room. (via)
