Christmas Candy From Vermont Country Store

Candy plays a HUGE role in my family at Christmas, my mom has always been the candy maker and I shared her easy to make and delicious to eat recipe for Chocolate Peanut Clusters here a couple of years ago. When I was growing up I worked in the grocery store in my hometown from the time I was 14 until I graduated from college and at Christmas, we all looked forward to the candy. Christmas candy of all shapes, sizes, and flavors was ordered in bulk and it was our job to unpack it, weight it, price it and display. Hours were spent filling clear bags full of chocolate drops, gumdrops, candy canes, orange slices and so much more. We set up a big table at the front of the store and filled it with bags of candy, I can smell the chocolate and orange slices now sitting here while I’m typing. Today I want to share the candy choices you can order online and have shipped to you at Vermont Country Store, they have a lot of the old favorites as well as some I’ve never heard of but would love to try. All of these would make great gifts for hard to buy for family and friends, great stocking stuffers or just look and taste great sitting out in dishes in your home during the holidays. It’s still 12 days until Christmas but order soon. Enjoy!!! (remember to click on anything in Orange to visit that items webpage)

Cream drops were always one of my favorite candies we worked at the grocery store. Here you can order a One Pound Box of Cream Drops and you have choices of Assorted Cream Centers, Maple Centers or Vanilla Centers. I want Vanilla.

I love Peppermint all year round, but these Holiday Peppermint Straws are doubly good because they have a creamy center.

I love gumdrops and this 2 Pound Bag of Christmas Spice Drops is just what the doctor ordered, he’s a very good doctor.

The Gumdrop Tree is a great way to display this gummy confection. Isn’t it cute!!!

I almost plotzed when I saw this Jumbo Almond Buttercrunch. A thick layer of buttery toffee enrobed in chocolate and sprinkled with chopped almonds. HEAVEN!!!

Yes, I am one of those people, I LOVE fruit slice candy. This is the Boston Fruit Slice Nutcracker Tin, my mouth is watering.

I’ve always traditionally thought of Jordan Almonds as an Easter candy but these Holiday Jordan Almonds certainly fill the bill of colorful and tasty.

If you have someone on your list who likes both chocolate and whiskey then you need these Irish Whiskey Liqueur Chocolates. I have a couple of people who may need these.

I love anything Almond and Marzipan is made from ground up Almonds, this Niederegger Marzipan Holiday Gift Set is bars of Marzipan covered in chocolate. The fact that each bar is wrapped and it all comes in a beautiful holiday tin.

Old Fashioned Ribbon Candy is almost too beautiful to eat, remember it looks amazing in candy jars as decoration.

Divinity is one of my favorite Christmas candies but it’s a pain to make, instead, you can order this Pecan Divinity Candy from VCS.

I hope you’ve seen some items on here that will make your holiday even brighter, order soon and Enjoy!!!
