Tabulous Finds At Tulu

April 12, 2018

By Tab Byrum

I was looking at a recent issue of House Beautiful magazine and there was a bathroom with upholstered walls in a beautiful blue fabric and the explanation of the photo said the fabric is from Tulu. I was unfamiliar with the name Tulu and immediately checked it out and am oh so glad I did. Tulu is a purveyor of many things, including bedding, pillows, shawls, pajamas, and some things created using vintage fabrics. Elizabeth Hewitt is Tulu’s owner and designer and finds her inspiration for Tulu designs in travel, whether it’s India, Burma, or Spain Hewitt is always on the lookout for inspiration. Today we are going to look at some of the amazing pillows available from Tulu done up in amazing patterns and beautiful colors. Visit the Tulu website here when you have a chance and we’ll be back in the near future to see what other beautiful things catch our eye. Enjoy!!!

The Alma Blue pillow is hand block printed on linen/cotton.

The Alvin Teal and Pink pillows are on silk/cotton pillow covers.

Love the Red and Purple color combination of the Gul Mable pillow

The Inez Pillow has a beautiful hydrangea pattern on a blue background with red, purple and green accents.

Fun bright colors make up the Josephine pillow with yellow, pink, and blue taking center stage.

An abstract floral painting look decorates the Madame Farfalla Lavender pillow.

The print on the Talullah pillow is as fun is its name. Love the teal background which is very hot right now.

The Fuji pillow is hand block printed on silk/cotton, a beautiful red color.

Words are my own.
