Ellen Degeneres is known as a great comedian and a consummate host on her daytime talk show and her wife Portia de Rossi is known for both her acting talents and her new art curation company, General Public, but when the two of them put their design hats on it creates beautiful homes. Over the years this Hollywood power couple has bought, redecorated and sold numerous houses, garnering them a reputation as real estate high rollers and their most recent acquisition will only add to that reputation. Degeneres and de Rossi recently bought a beachfront property outside of Santa Barbara that’s home to a 6,000 sq. ft. house, 883 sq. ft. guest house, tennis courts, swimming pool, all on 1.13 acre of beach with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. The home is contemporary in style with white walls and lots of beautiful light colored wood throughout the home. Join me today for a tour of the home as we inspect photos and I’ll go into more detail with the images. Have a wonderful day and a great weekend, Enjoy!!!

The Living Room, above & below, has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and a gorgeous neutral color scheme doesn’t compete with the views.

All of the walls in the house that face the ocean come with giant sliding glass doors that can be completely opened to not only enhance the view without obstruction but also let you feel the ocean breeze.

The Kitchen island is completely clad in stainless steel and houses the cooktop, a sink, and workspace.

The home has 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom.

The Master Bedroom has a beautiful view of the ocean as well as a fireplace for chilly nights.

A free standing tub and walk-in shower make up the bathroom as well as her and her sinks and a fireplace. Imagine sitting in the at tub with that view. Ahhhhh…

The Master Bath leads right into the Master Closet dressing area with ample storage for clothes and lots and lots of tennis shoes.

The outdoor spaces at the house are amazing with outdoor fireplaces and large pieces of lounging furniture, all of course with ocean views.

The lower level of the house opens up onto a deck with a pool and also leads directly onto the beach.

I would be hard-pressed to ever leave this gorgeous home.

Words are my own.
