Garden Stools

I’m on the hunt for the perfect Garden Stool to use in our Master Bedroom as a small side table. Garden Stools are exactly what they sound like, short, usually round stools but they are wide enough to be used as a table. We have a blue and white garden stool that we’ve had for years that I use in the living room and I would like to have one in the bedroom to hold a couple of books as well as a fan that we use this time of year when the temps at night don’t cool off very much. Garden Stools come in all sorts of shapes, usually, they are round but they also come in a square shape. Many times you will find the decoration and design of Garden Stools have an Asian influence which of course is where they got their beginnings. Today I’m going to share with you some ways Garden Stools are used as furniture in the home as well as look at some choices available from retailers. Enjoy!!!

This is the Classic Garden Stool available online at Ballard Designs, available in a wide range of colors. (via)

There are several choices available from Serena & Lily including the square and fun Sabastopol Stool, which is the square in the center of the photo. (via)

This is the Jasmine Garden Stool from Safavieh which is available at Target and online. I really like the metallic finish on the stool as well as the pattern which they call a “stepping stone motif”. (via)

Words are my own.
