I was able to help this past weekend with the flowers and set up of a wedding here in Oklahoma City. If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter you might have seen some of the photos I posted while we were working. The Bride was very laid back and was open to whatever we suggested, her only request was Protea in her and her bridesmaid’s bouquets. There were 25 tables at the reception and we did three different centerpieces with candles in hurricane vases on some, low crystal bowls with flowers on some and tall centerpieces using tall vases and plastic holders for the bouquets. I’ll show you the photos I took and go into more detail plus a look at some of the beautiful calligraphy work from Shana Myers over at Ink Stain Fingers. Enjoy!!!

One week from today is our nation’s birthday, 242 years old, and it’s my favorite Summertime holiday. 4th of July was always a big deal for my family growing up, we always went to my Grandma’s house and she would have a couple of ice cream freezers going, frying chicken and everyone else would bring side dishes. Today I thought I would share some fun ideas I’ve recently found to help you make your 4th of July Party even MORE fun. Whether it’s food on a stick or fun straws, fruit dishes, decorations or something you can accomplish with spray paint or a quick trip to the party store, I’ve got you covered. Get out a pencil and paper to take notes or start googling and let’s make this the best 4th EVER!!!! Enjoy!!!! (via)

Thanksgiving Table Runners & Placemats
November 8, 2017
By
On Monday I shared some beautiful ideas on dining table decorations for Thanksgiving, in that post I talked about having a runner down the center of your table to give a defined area for your centerpiece and decorations. Along with that, you can also use placemats, I love placemats but I know some people don’t care for them, I like that they are a simple way to add a holiday look to your dining room or kitchen table without breaking the bank. Today I’m going to share some great buys from Pier One and Mackenzie-Childs on table runners and placemats that you can use for Thanksgiving and all Fall. Enjoy!!! (above via)

I seem to have a thing for crows, spiders, and pumpkins, at least that’s what I was drawn to for Halloween from MacKenzie-Childs. As always, they’ve combined classical shapes with their signature colors and created fun and frightening items to add fun and sass to your home this Halloween. Some of the items can even be carried over for Fall and Thanksgiving if you do it right. Here’s a quick peek at some of the NEW items at MC for Halloween 2017. Enjoy!!!
Autumn 2017

We’ve made it to another Fall when our thoughts of color turn to warmer colors like Oranges, Browns, and Burgundy and brightness of Yellow. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons since I love the cooler weather associated with both of them, the holidays and colors. This fall I’m hoping to get an Etsy page up and going that I’ll share here on the blog when I have new items going up on it for sale, I’m going to mainly focus on holidays and creating wonderful things for you to enjoy in your homes and that you can also give as gifts. I’ll be sharing with you decorating projects I have going on, both Holiday decorating and Interior decorating. I just took fabrics to my friend who sews for me and she’s making new bedding and drapes for my bedroom and I’ll share that with you as soon as it’s done. For now let’s take a look at some beautiful images of Autumn decor that hopefully inspires us to enjoy the cool, crisp days of Fall and all that they offer. Have a great day and Enjoy!!!
