So, once again I’ve stumbled onto something while looking for something else completely different. The other day I was researching a designer and she mentioned The Paris Market website as one of her favorite shopping spots online, so of course, I had to check it out and it’s awesome if you’re looking for fun, beautiful and unusual then check it out. The Paris Market is a store in Savannah, Georgia and is owned by Paula Danyluk. Paula and her husband Taras travel and explore markets around the world for the wonderful items available at The Paris Market, from Paris to Cairo and now they’re including Milan and Rome, England, Holland and Belgium in their shopping forays. If you’re looking for fun and unusual items for your home or maybe that perfect gift for someone check out The Paris Market, meanwhile I’ll share some wonderful things I found on their website. Have a great Monday and Enjoy!!!

I was unfamiliar with John Robshaw Textiles until I saw his website mentioned in a recent magazine article, the article was talking about a product that had nothing to do with textiles but definitely piqued my interest. John Robshaw has traveled throughout Asia trying to learn all he can about creating the wonderful textiles that we know from countries like India, China, and Indonesia, learning the ancient art of block printing and creating his own painting technique that creates a more artistic look. In his own words, Robshaw says, “when you look at my textiles its like you’ve been on the world tour with me.” On the John Robshaw website, he offers beautiful bedding, pillows, towels & shower curtains, home decor and fabric by the yard. Join me for a trip around the world with John Robshaw via shopping, Enjoy!!!

I love getting good emails and that’s what I received yesterday from MacKenzie~Childs, they are sharing some of their newest merchandise available for Spring in the way of throws, candles, and pillows and I want to share it with you today. MC always has the latest in design as far as shapes and colors, of course, they have their own colors they use such as Courtly Check, Parchment and bright pinks and blues. I love how they take very traditional shapes in furniture and accessories and then turn them into something completely different by covering them with fun fabrics, paint colors, and patterns. Here’s a look at Spring at MacKenzie~Childs and what’s new, Enjoy!!!

Wayne Pate is the latest artist featured on the blog that we discovered through Tiger Flower Studio. Pate’s work definitely harkens back to the works of great artists like Matisse and Picasso, Pate says he draws inspiration from his travels and things around him as well as the artists the came out of the Modern Movement. Pate today lives and works in Brooklyn and has developed working relationships with Domino Magazine, One Kings Lane and Serena and Lily among others. Today we are going to take a look at the six works Pate is exhibiting on Tiger Flower but you can also explore this artist more by visiting his personal website here, Enjoy!!!
