Happy Monday and Happy Milk Chocolate Day!!!
I was very excited when I saw on the calendar that there was a National Milk Chocolate Day and I knew I had to address it here on Tabulous.
You may ask yourself, how is he going to tie milk chocolate and design together, but believe me it’s easy.
Chocolate Brown has been used both as a main color and accent color in home decor and fashion for years.
When I was a kid, not that long ago, my dad had the most gorgeous pair of dark brown patent leather cowboy boots, they were beautiful and shiny, you could literally see your reflection in the boots.
He also had a chocolate brown Stetson cowboy hat that he wore to church on Sundays and ball games on Tuesday and Friday nights and I loved it all.
Chocolate Brown is still a very strong color in design, whether it’s fashion, interiors or even cars.
I love to accent with chocolate brown, right now I’m really into using grey and accenting with brown.
It’s a very rich and luxurious looking combination, I’m in the process of getting things together to redo our bedroom in grey and brown, I’ll keep you up to date on that as it moves along and share pics when it’s all finished.
Here’s a pic I’ve used for a little inspiration.
In the meantime, here’s some inspiration on how to get more chocolate in your life, Enjoy!!!

Let me know what you think, Milk Chocolate, does it belong in your mouth and on your hands only or do you also like to wear it and decorate with it.
