I subscribe to a lot of magazines, both for work and for pleasure and I was excited over the weekend when I received an email from Haper’s Bazaar announcing a write up and pictoral on Emma Ferrer and her grandmother Audrey Hepburn.
I have always loved Audrey Hepburn, first and foremost for the kind, caring and generous person she was and secondly for her work in movies. Audrey Hepburn always seemed to glide across the screen and of course was always dressed in amazing clothes, many of them from Givenchy. Some of my favorite films of hers are Sabrina, Funny Face, Charade, How To Steal A Million and the list goes on and on.
Emma Ferrer is the only child of Audrey’s son Sean Ferrer and has grown up mainly in Europe, but is soon moving to America to continue her studies in art.
Richard Avedon is the famed photographer responsible for many of the amazing images we have today to remember Audrey Hepburn.

Avedon’s Grandson Michael Avedon was brought together with Emma Ferrer to create photography magic for Harper’s Bazaar just as their grandparents had done in the past.
Here’s a look at photos of Audrey Hepburn and her granddaughter Emma, photographed by Richard Avedon and grandson Michael as well a link to read a great interview with Emma Ferrer and what it’s like growing up Audrey Hepburn’s grand child. Enjoy!!!!
