On Tuesday Sherwin Williams Paint Company announced their color of the year for 2015, and it’s called Coral Reef.  “The uplifting, vivacious hue with floral notes is the perfect melange of pink, orange and red that can be used to liven up any space,” is how Sherwin Williams describes the hue.

Coral Reef is one of ten colors grouped together in a collection that Sherwin Williams is calling Buoyant, a spokesman for SW Paints says, “the Buoyant palette reflects our enthusiasm with colors that evoke big, bright florals in fashion and interiors”.  Sherwin Williams released a video along with their announcement of the color and I’ve put together a look at the color Coral Reef to give you an idea of how it looks and what it looks like with other colors.  I definitely think the color can either interject fun into a room or drama, so perfect for a little girl’s room or a beautiful dining room, let’s have a look,   Enjoy!!!

So what do you think about Coral Reef?  Yay or Nay?  I was kind of surprised when the announcement first came out but as I’ve investigated and looked at it more, well it’s growing on me.  Let me know what you think.
