You know how you start searching on the Internet for something specific and you find yourself winding and wandering from site to site and all of a sudden you stumble on to something wonderful? That’s how I feel and what I did recently when I found out about the Arkiv collection from Swedish wallpaper design house of Sandberg. The designs are all taken from their own archives as well as designs and images taken from the rich architectural heritage of Sweden.
I particularly enjoy the trompe l’oeil doors, imagine a hallway full of eye deceiving doors. The topiaries are also very cool, take a look and let me know what you think. Enjoy!!!
Here’s a look at how the wallpaper comes to you for installation.
Wouldn’t this architectural wallpaper with trees be great in a dining room or a garden room?
This architectural wallpaper is taken from the Nordic Museum in Stockholm.
Apparently Japanese wood block prints were very popular in Sweden at one time.
