I’m always looking for new stuff to feature on the blog and to introduce you guys to, while searching and scouring the internet one evening I came across Jessica Hische. Jessica is a formally trained Graphic Artist who is out on her own now and describes herself as a self-employed letterer, illustrator and type designer. I fell in love with her letter prints and posters, I love unusual representations of letters from the alphabet grouped together to spell something meaningful to you or your family. Today I’m going to share with you the Viney Alphabet and from her collection of Alphabet Art Prints the 2nd Letterpressed version of certain letters from the alphabet. Can you see what they spell, Enjoy!!!
The Viney Alphabet poster is a three color letterpress print done on Crane’s 110 lb. paper stock. It’s dimensions are 13×18 and it’s limited to 250 printings.
Designer, Jessica Hische
These individual letter prints are also printed on high grade Crane 110 lb. paper, she describes the colors of the letters as a subdued greyish greenish blue. I love how unusual they are and have a retro feel to them, they run $40 apiece and measure 8×8, a great gift for a letter or type face geek in your life. I can definitely see these hanging somewhere in the Tabulous Design office.
I’m definitely going to have to keep an eye on Jessica’s sight to see what her next creations will be, I’ll keep you up to date.
