I had a list of a few things I needed for client jobs as well as wanting to stay on top of things and letting you know some of the trends from Market, so I made a quick one day trip recently to The World Trade Center in Dallas.
I can tell you that neutral is very big as well as gold and brass, and for the holidays in 2015, well apparently we’ll all be wearing top hats. Here are some pics of things I saw and wanted to share, Enjoy!!!
I really like this wood framed, square club chair. This corner is a good example of neutral trend we are seeing.
With these lamps you can get the neutral color tones but still have some fun with patterns on the fabrics of the shades.
Brass and gold are EVERYWHERE at Market, but it’s definitely NOT your grandma’s brass furnishings.
Throw in some Harvest Gold velvet chairs and a blue rug, it kinda works.
Industrial lighting is also a trend, I like it in the right place.
I had been noticing some black and gold in retail shops and I saw lots more of it at January Market.
The nice thing about neutral color is you can mix in your favorite colors for some pizazz.
Just liked this bronze of these hunting dogs, I saw lots of dog statues and accessories.
Enter the top hats. This tree was in an antique sleigh in the K&K Showroom, I then noticed top hats for Christmas 2015 all over the place.
Clocks are always in and a great accessory.
Lots to contemplate for the new year in home decor, see anything you like?
