Recently at Market in Dallas I was looking at the creations of Canopy Designs and decided to share them with you. Canopy Designs is an American company that designs and creates their gorgeous lighting and tabletop products in and around New York City.
Canopy takes a lot of design inspiration from France and Italy, Merrie Shinder, owner and designer, is described as a “one woman design powerhouse” and takes great pride in the company she began 17 years ago at her dining room table. Much of the staff at Canopy has been there since the beginning so there is also a strong sense of family and pride. Join me today as we look at some of the creations of Canopy Designs, I know I could surely work in one of their amazing light fixtures into some of the home remodel projects we have coming up.
