“A fashionable way to introduce your child to the world of classic literature”, is the description of Baby Lit on the back of their books and I couldn’t agree more. I wasn’t familiar with Baby Lit until I attended a Bloggers Conference called Alt Summit back in January. Baby Lit was responsible for the table decorations at lunch one of the days, we all had free books on our chairs as well as taking the books from the table decor once lunch was over. As a book lover I think Baby Lit is great, they are taking great works of literature such as Pride and Prejudice and turning it into a counting primer for helping children learn their numbers and how to count, to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn which is a camping primer and helps kids learn the meaning of words such as river and friends through illustrations and passages from the book.
The books are in board form, so there aren’t paper pages that will tear easily and the art by Alison Oliver is AWESOME. The books are written and adapted by Jennifer Adams and together she and Alison Oliver are producing a wonderful product combining literature, art and learning, check out Baby Lit for your kids or as a perfect gift for a baby shower or birthday presents. Enjoy!!!

There are also play sets that allow the kids to interact with the characters during play time.
I know some grown-up kids that wouldn’t mind carrying one of these Literature Loving Tote Bags.
