Shiatzy Chen The Book

June 16, 2015

By Tab Byrum

In celebration of 35 years of fashion design, Assouline Publishing is presenting Shiatzy Chen, a look at the Chinese design house leading the pack in Asian luxury design.

We profiled Shiatzy Chen yesterday on the blog and discussed how the founder, Wang Chen Tsai-Hsia, combines the beauty and best of Chinese culture with Western sewing and styling to create beautiful clothes. This book is a celebration of the brand that has become Shiatzy Chen, from the cut of the clothes and the ancient embroidery techniques, as well as taking a look back and showing us the history of this self-made luxury brand. Join me as we take a peek inside Shiatzy Chen the book, and enjoy the beautiful photos and story of a fashion icon. Enjoy!!!
