Bubble Tile

I’m kind of obsessed right now with tile that I call Bubble Tile. I had seen it in tile showrooms but couldn’t get anyone to use it in a project until a couple of years ago I was working in the home of a new client at Christmas and she has Bubble Tile on the floor of her powder bath. It’s so cool, it looks like you are walking on bubbles, the tile is made up of different sized round pieces of tile, all in the same colorway. Today I want to share some of the uses of Bubble Tile and show you some of the newer variations of it that have come out. I just can’t get over how fun this tile is and all the fun things you can do. Enjoy!!! (above image via)

This white on white version of Bubble Tile was the first one I ever saw in a showroom. There are many different variations of it as far as colors and textures. (via)

This is a great idea if you can’t quite see yourself devoting a whole wall or shower to Bubble Tile, use it as an accent and create a look all your own. (via)

This version of Bubble Tile has some crystals worked into it to add some sparkle to the effervescent tile. (via)

Here we have a bathroom wall done in glass Bubble Tiles, isn’t it fun? (via)

Now we move into the kitchen and find a beautiful backsplash done in gray, white and black Bubble Tiles, so fun and eye-catching. (via)

I think this is a cool idea, Bubble Tile was on the floor of this bathroom and then taken up the wall of the shower area as an accent. Very fun. (via)

And here we have Bubble Tile used as an accent above the wainscoting in a bathroom. The tile echoes the shape of the round mirror and brings some color the all white bathroom. (via)
