Pantone Fall 2017 ~ Marina & Autumn Maple

August 18, 2017

Today is the last day looking at the top 10 colors that Pantone has chosen for the upcoming Fall and Winter season in Fashion which also transfers over to interior design. Our first color today is Marina, a cool blue color that calls to mind bright blue skies, blue tiled pools, and blue hydrangeas. “Cool with an enhanced vitality, Marina is the only truly cool color in the fall palette that brings with it freshness and brightness,” is how Pantone describes this beautiful Blue. The tenth color on the list is Autumn Maple and its name truly says it all, “A quintessential autumn color, Autumn Maple is tawny and russet, introducing warmth into the palette.” Autumn Maple calls to mind Pumpkins, falling leaves, and Gingerbread. Join me for a look at some images to give you a better idea about these colors, Enjoy!!! (above via & via)

Marina Blue Hydrangeas liven up any room, even Gray, and White. (via)

When Blue is your color and you need a good power suit, this works. (via)

I love this area of this entryway, Marina Blue art on the walls and the beautiful Blue pillows on the bench. (via)

Blue takes center stage in this photo, encasing the whole room and much of the decoration. (via)

I love all the touches of blue in this kitchen. (via)

The shade of Orange that Hermès uses is one of my favorites, here we can see it echoed in the throw pillows, artwork, and the legs on the small side table. (via)

I’ve said it many times, throw pillows are an easy way to incorporate color into your rooms. Here we have Orange Zebra stripes adding color and pattern. (via)

When my youngest cousin got married she wore Orange shoes, I think this is such a fun way to incorporate your favorite color when you’re a bride. (via)

This room has a neutral background with lots of pop of Autumn Maple. From the pair of Orange chairs to the art, throws, and pillows. (via)

Bathrooms are always a great room to play with color, yesterday we saw a Golden Lime colored wall and today we see a beautiful Orange and how it livens up this otherwise basic bathroom. (via)

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at these color choices and maybe find some inspiration. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday. Enjoy!!!

Words are my own.
