10 Fall Cocktails: Round 1

September 27, 2017

By Tab Byrum

It has cooled off dramatically here in Oklahoma and it rained all day yesterday, it really feels like Fall is here. I thought we would take a look at some of the new cocktails created by mixologists across the country, especially those that focus on the flavors of the Fall season and that will work well with some of our favorite Fall appetizers and meals. We’re going to look at 10 cocktails, starting this morning with the first 5 and check back later today for the second 5 links and recipes. I’m not posting the recipes themselves but I am providing the link to the websites where I found the cocktails, just click on anything orange under the cocktails photo. OK, let’s start mixing, Enjoy!!! (above via)

Apple Cranberry Moscow Mule

I love the Ginger in a traditional Moscow Mule and this one from Heather Christo is enhanced with Apple and Cranberry, a great way to start any Fall get together. (via)

Caramel Apple Sangria

I’m not a big beer drinker so on our recent trip to Mexico I sampled a lot of Sangria and I can’t wait to try this Caramel Apple Sangria from The Wholesome Dish. We may want this at the end of the meal and not before. (via)

Bailey’s Pumpkin Spice Espresso Cocktail

Who doesn’t love some Bailey’s on a cool night? Combine that with Pumpkin Spice and you have this Espresso Martini from Giraffes Can Bake to sip and enjoy all Fall long. (via)

Orange Cinnamon Whiskey Smash

Whiskey is very popular right now and this Orange Cinnamon Whiskey Smash from My Food Story combines two of my favorite flavors, Orange and Cinnamon, with Whiskey to create this smashing cocktail. (via)

Apple Cider Mojito

There are many variations on the traditional Mojito but this Apple Cider Mojito from Jo-Lynne Shane combines Apple Cider, Applejack, and Rum to create a soothing Autumn drink. (via)

Words are my own.
