Greens Only

I don’t know if I would call today’s post a trend or not but it’s a look I like and enjoy more and more. I LOVE fresh flowers but sometimes I like an arrangement made of just greens and foliage, I’ve been seeing this look used a lot in weddings. Just having a vase or container of greens is much more streamlined and depending on the greens it can be very architectural. There are all kinds of beautiful leaves to choose from, most of them all tropical. You can use Hosta Leave, Monstera Leaves, Banana Plant Leaves, Aspidistra Leaves, and Pittosporum. Today we are going to take a look at different arrangements and I’ll try to focus on certain greenery in future posts. Just remember, plants and flowers bring life and color to a room but you don’t always have to break the bank or go overboard. Enjoy!!! (above image via)

This tall vase filled with Monstera leaves makes a big statement, all in one color. (via)

This banquet table is filled with all green plants and arrangements at different heights is beautiful. (via)

A single Monstera leaf in a simple vase is classic, simple, and elegant. (via)

Here we have Monstera leaves and a few other plants being suspended from a cable and attached to each other to form an arch. (via)

Leaves of differing sizes are used in different sized vases and mixed with candles to form a tabletop arrangement. (via)

Banana Leaves are used in these arrangements and definitely give a tropical feel to the room and festivities.  (via)

Here we have a completed arch formed of Monstera leaves and hanging plants, a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. (via)

Words are my own.
